Guitar Lessons

Do you already play an instrument but have no idea what you should practice next? Or are you a total beginner but you get bored by thinking or learning things by a book? Then read this until the end.

Let me show you my vision on Music: it is the art of contemplating and later transmit the beauty of the world through sound. For instrumentalists, the musical instrument is the instrument through which one communicates and shares that personal introspection. In order to be able to transmit and communicate its own point of view, we need to know who we are and master the instrument. As a guitar teacher, the teaching stresses these two points: the formation of the student as a personal level and the mastering of the instrument itself.

Every student has its own strengths, personalities and sensitivities. This means that they all learn music in a slightly different way, and they all have different points of views and musical aspects that call their attention. As a teacher I always try to understand the particularities of the student and help him become aware of it. This means that although a method is essential, the details that are focused on change from student to student.

In short: my goal is to always transmit to my students my passion and respect for this intrument. For either beginners or advanced students, there’s always a playful but methodical way of progressing and learning.

Do you know some musical concepts but totally fail to connect all of them? I can help you.

I admit: I’m a nerd. Having a Bachelor in theoretical Physics and a Master in Philosophy kind of proves how much stress I put on the intelectual side of things. And with music is no different. This not about intellectual challenges, it’s about understanding and articulating the musical tools and concepts in order to better apply them: either as an instrumentalist, composer or arranger. The goal is simple: understand what you use, and then use it with more intentionality.
